I have a love of adventure, hunger for knowledge, and appreciation for the land is in my blood. As a fifth-generation Oregonian, I value my Risley ancestors who traveled the Oregon Trail in 1845 establishing two donation land claims of 1,280 acres. When I moved to Cannon Beach in the '70s, I knew I was home. There is a magical aura about this "Quaint village by the sea". As a realtor of 30 years, community involvement is key to gaining an understanding of how this town functions.
